Our history:
The Company was founded by brothers Nivaldo and Heraldo Corradi in the late 60s. For their production process, they extracted Wolfram in quarries in Valle de Punilla area (Pampa de Olaen). Through this process, Tungsten Carbide was produced and then sintered parts according to the requests; adding over the years the incorporation of production of special tools for machining parts.
After 1995, Nivaldo’s children began to participate in the family business. After the crisis of 2000, the new generation: Ariel, Karina, Mariela, Romina and Hernán; They decided to found a new company: ANTARES, referring to the “brightest star in the constellation.”
In its beginnings, its main market was the Automotive and Oil industry, working hard on the diversification of the company’s production, eventually supplying the different industrial sectors, intensively using the sintering capacity, which allowed increasing the quantity of products and modernize their processes.
Currently, the company is working to position itself as an exporter in countries where it is already operating, such as Bolivia and Chile; renewing the commitment to growth, with the enthusiasm and commitment of the early days.
